The Way It’s Supposed to Work

John Jantsch

I had sent a note to a business associate, Jack, asking how he was doing and suggesting he listen to an interview with John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing.  He then emailed me back after he listened to the podcast with John to tell me how much he enjoyed John’s advice for small business owners.  I copied John on the email.

Apparently, John contacted him directly to express his appreciation.  I then received an email the other day from Jack that said:

Hi Barry,

I received a nice e-mail note from John Jantsch – thank you for connecting us.  I do plan to attend one of his workshops this year, looks like July will be the next opportunity locally.

Thanks, Jack

And that’s the way it’s supposed to work!

Amen! Competition is the old way; cooperation is the new frontier. And, I like to think that women, with their tighter sense of “community” have led the way.
